The Macon County Junior High Tigers defeat Livingston Academy 16-14 to get to 6-0 on the season. This game was a great contest for both teams and fans. Seth Carlisle scored on a 2 yard run which capped off a 60 yard 12 play drive to start the game. Jason Sewell added the 2 point conversion, Tigers lead 8-0. The Wildcats answered back with a 1 yard QB sneak in the second quarter. Two point play failed Tigers led 8-6. After a Tiger turnover on their own 2 yard line, the Wildcats took the lead on a 2 yard run by the QB Dillon. The conversion was good, 14-8 Wildcats late in the 3rd quarter. The Tigers answer right back as Bailey Law takes it to the house on a 73 yard TD run. Carlisle added the 2 point play to take the lead 16-14. The Tigers held off a late drive by the Wildcats to get the win. The victory breaks a 24 game win streak for Livingston. Photo by Nicky Rittenberry |
