According to Officer Behr, K-9 Officer Clint Hestand and his drug K-9 Jackyl served as backup during the investigation. “When walked around the suspect’s vehicle, the K-9 alerted to all sides of the vehicle,” Officer Behr stated. “When we searched inside, we discovered over four ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, scales and the prescription drug Xanax.” The suspect, Terry Allen Shelton, age 29, was charged with possession of a Schedule VI drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a Schedule IV drug. Officer Behr also noted that the stolen merchandise from Fred’s was recovered during the investigation and returned to the store.
