MCHS Volleyball Splits Games PDF Print E-mail

The Macon County High Volleyball team split a pair of games this week. They defeated Murfreesboro Central Magnet and lost to Livingston.

The MCHS ladies volleyball team defeated Murfreesboro Central Magnet school on Thursday, September 9th in Lafayette. The team won in straight sets by a score of 25-14, 25-16, and 25-11. Leading the way for the Tigerettes were Emily Oyster with 6 aces and 6 kills, Kristyn Flippin with 6 aces and 9 assists, and Kayley Scruggs with 4 blocks.

Macon then dropped a five set game to Livingston on September 12th in Lafayette. The score was 25-19, 19-25, 18-25, 25-23, and 8-15. Kristen Flippin had 3 aces and 17 kills, Jordyn Patterson had 20 assists, Kristen Hale had 3 blocks, and Jordan Shockley had 4 digs.

This week the Tigerettes are scheduled to play Friendship at home on the 16th, Upperman at home on the 17th, and at Livingston on the 19th.
