SOCIAL SECURITY GOING, GOING, GONE |
Tuesday, July 21, 2009 |
One day the well will go dry, and those who have been drinking from it, including those who anticipate drinking from it, will go to the mailbox but there will be no social security check. Believe me, it was a great day when FDR pushed through the Social Security funds at an alarming rate.

According to a recent issue of The Tennessean of the 100 freshman who enter four-year Tennessee colleges this fall only 45 will graduate within six years. These statistics have changed very little in recent years. Each new administration in the state’s capital tackle the problem by adding more required courses for high school students, which usually ends in more “pushouts” from secondary schools. For years Capitalism and Prosperity had been like Siamese twins… where one was found the other was not far behind. It seems that each fed off of the other. When Americans invested their resources in a new adventure, Capitalism paid off in terms of profits and jobs, and Prosperity followed. But Prosperity has never been content to remain the fruits of Capitalism, investing its profits in capitalistic opportunities, which produced more capital and more job opportunities with it. |
