Does a lapel button, which reads, “I PRAYED” violate the Constitution? A federal judge seems to think it does. The judge said that Wilson County schools were supporting religious activities by the parents, administrators, and teachers wearing buttons that said “I Prayed”, and that they could no longer wear them in school buildings.

Never before has a more relentless war been waged against the Middle Class population of the United States than the one we are witnessing today. The Upper Class has no problem filing up their gas tanks and shopping carts, while the bottom percentage of our population receive food cards, health cards, rent subsidy, and a certain about of free transportation, whereas the Middle Class get the privilege of paying the majority of the taxes. Now if that isn’t war on the Middle Class than I’ve never heard of one.

Students Allowed To Draw “Demonic” Images In School, But Not A Cross PDF Print E-mail

Both the “Overkill” and inconsistency are alive and well in some schools across the nation. Recently a high school student in Tomah High School in Madison, Wisconsin drew a cross and included the words “John 3:16 A sign of peace” in his art class. His teacher asked him to remove the reference to the Bible, but the student refused. His teacher gave him a zero on the project.

Browsing through an October 31, 1959 Courier-Journal, I noticed on the front page these headlines: “7 Children Die In Blaze; Mothers At A Bar.” The opening line was this: “Ottumwa, Iowa, October 30 – Seven young children, trapped by fire inside a one-door house, died early Friday while their mothers were away at a bar.”
