New Call Center 'Good to Go' PDF Print E-mail

RED BOILING SPRINGS, Tennessee (June 20, 2011) – Proving the old saying that no news is good news, plans for the construction of a customer service call center that is expected to create jobs in Macon County are quietly moving forward. According to project manager John Cook, the customer service call center has already cleared several hurdles, including the re-zoning and annexation of a 25.82-acre site on Highway 52 in Red Boiling Springs where it will be built.

“We’re all good to go there,” Cook said.

The call center is currently wrapping up details involving the real estate purchase and is in the process of submitting applications on the state and federal level for job support sources for site preparation, infrastructure to site, and redundant utility services.

At start-up, the facility will serve as an inbound customer service call center for four Fortune 500 U.S. companies and will be capable of receiving up to approximately 1,500 calls simultaneously.
