Radio hosts Dale Meador and Kim Evans MC’d the event, Anna Dean Carter represented the Senior Center and possum chef Barbara Blankenship prepared the dish to perfection.

During the celebration the Simmon’s Sister performed on vocals with Anice Jones on piano and many of those in attendance bravely tasted the marsupial delicacy.
