Macon County General Receives 3rd Consecutive National Service Award PDF Print E-mail

Macon County General Hospital was honored with the distinguished Avatar International ‘Exceeding Patient Expectations Award’ for the third consecutive year, a title given to less than one percent of the nation’s hospitals.

David Medvedeff, Avatar CEO, announced Macon County General as a recipient of the award on June 2nd, making this statement about the hospital’s patient service reputation:

“The hallmark of exceptional service to patients is to consistently meet or exceed their expectations – not always an easy task. Macon County General Hospital has demonstrated that it exceeds its patients’ expectations in a tangible and measurable manner. While this is the third year, Macon County General has won the notable award, the hospital has also won awards for Inpatient Care and Ambulatory Surgery Care in years past.

We might be a small hospital when compared to facilities in larger cities, but our patients receive top-notch care and we feel honored to have received this award for three years in a row.”
