According to a police report filed at the Macon County Sheriffs Department, Gaylor was put in charge of collecting all money from the troop’s cookie sales, but when the cookie money was to be turned it, Gaylor came up empty handed. The police report further stated that after speaking with her, Gaylor admitted to taking the money and spending it for personal gain without consent. Gaylor is being held at the Macon County Jail on $2,000 bond and is set to appear in General Sessions Court on June 18. |

Lafayette police arrested 31-year-old Lori Ann Gaylor, of Lafayette, on May 21 on charges of theft over $500 after reports that the Girl Scout ‘Cookie Mother’ of Troop 2137 allegedly stole money obtained by the troop through cookie sales.
