The sheriff stated that they arrived at the home of 56-year-old Ricky S. Wilson around 11:30 p.m. after obtaining a warrant to search for a possible methamphetamine manufacturing operation at his residence. “During the search we also found 40-year-old Marty Allen Oldham and 21-year-old Sky M. Thomas at the home of Mr. Wilson,” said Sheriff Gammons, “who had left the residence prior to the search.”
“We discovered a working meth lab in a wood stove inside Mr. Wilson’s shop,” continued the sheriff, “along with loaded weapons, two baggies with meth powder, a large quantity of Sudafed, which is used to cook meth, a large amount of plastic tubing, rock salt and other components used in the procedure to manufacture methamphetamine.”
The officers found a bag of marijuana in the purse of Ms. Sky Thomas.
“Although Mr. Wilson had left the house, we still have enough evidence to charge him as well,” noted Sheriff Gammons.
Ricky Wilson is charged with promotion of methamphetamine manufacture. Bond is set at $50,000 and a court date is scheduled for August 22.
Marty Oldham is charged with promotion of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule II drug, and intent to manufacture methamphetamine. His bond is set at $65,000 and a court date is set for August 22.
Sky Thomas is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, promotion of methamphetamine and introduction of drugs into a county institution. Bond is set at $70,000 and her court date is also August 22.
Sheriff Gammons said that he would like to thank Officers Shane Reed and Jimmy Morgan for their help in this investigation and also the search warrant execution.
