The Macon County Auction for the Arts was held on Saturday, August 25^th, at the Sally Wells Building, located on the Macon County Fairgrounds.

A delicious dinner was served by Linda’s Catering and Kinship provided the musical entertainment. According to Nancy Doss $10,140 was taken in and after expenses the council expects to profit over $8,000. Doss said that her and Lucky Collins have decided to be co-presidents of the Macon County Arts Council for the coming year.
