|Lafayette Man Killed in Motorcycle Wreck|

Forty-seven-year-old Jackie Dale Wright Jr., of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, June 6, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Jackson County, Tennessee.
The accident, which occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m., involved a white van driven by Martin Overstreet of Castalian Springs.
According to the accident report, Jackie Dale was traveling north on highway 151 when the white van, traveling south on 151, crossed over the double line and into Jackie Dale’s lane, striking his motorcycle.
Jackie Dale was a truck driver for the Performance Feed Company, and was a member of the Lafayette Masonic lodge # 543, and the Macon County Shriner Organization, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his spare time. He was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by; son, Jim Wright, daughter, Danise Wright, mother, Doris Jenkins, brothers, Bud Wright and Alan Wright, sister, Lisa Jenkins all of Lafayette, Tenn., three grandchildren, Jamie and Courtney Wright, and Adreyan Hire.
There will be a memorial service conducted at the home of Jackie Dale’s mother, Doris Swindle Jenkins on Friday, June 13, at 6 p.m.
