Last Wednesday afternoon, 59-year-old Dickie Donoho, of Lafayette, was pronounced dead at Macon County General Hospital after his motorized wheelchair was struck by a Honda Accord when he attempted to cross the roadway near the intersection of Sneed Blvd. and Highway 52 By Pass East. CPR was performed on Donoho at the scene, before the Macon County EMS carried him to the medical facility.
