The Westmoreland Fire Department, along with mutual aid from the Lafayette Fire Department, responded to a structure fire at 9949 Epperson Springs Road in the edge of Macon County on Friday night, January 19. No one was at home when the firefighters arrived and Westmoreland Fire Chief Mark Jenkins said the incident is under investigation.
