The highly anticipated Chamber of Commerce ‘Christmas on the Square’ is set to spread the spirit of the holiday throughout Macon County on Saturday, November 22nd.

Beginning at 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., this year’s event will host a variety of activities for children and adults including free buggy rides by Jimmy Davis and Terry Lynch, photos with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, story-telling, face painting, refreshments and a Christmas program performance by the Macon County High School Music Department.

The voices of Christmas carolers and visits from Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, The Grinch, Donalld Duck and Mickey & Minnie, around the square, promise to set the tone for another Macon County Christmas celebration to remember.

As always, merchants will be offering specials to early holiday shoppers and $1,000 in cash giveaways will be won by a few lucky drawing participants.
