|Lafayette Fleetwood Plant Benefits from Kentucky Plant Closure|

November 25, 2008 – Bill Graves, General Manager of the Fleetwood Homes plant in Lafayette, announced yesterday the closing of Fleetwood’s plant in Benton, Ky. According to Mr. Graves, all production will be shifted from Benton to Fleetwood’s plant in Lafayette, Tenn.

“Both of these plants have shared markets to the West with similar products. As a result of the Benton closing, the Lafayette plant will become Fleetwood’s primary supplier for these markets”, said Graves.
Plans are currently underway to shift Benton products to Lafayette and will be completed over the next 60 days.

The Benton, Ky. plant closure is one of several by Fleetwood and is a part of an overall strategic restructuring of Fleetwood Homes, Inc. designed to ensure the long term success and profitability of the company.
