|Tuesday, February 17, 2009|
Jose (Alex) Mendiola was diagnosed with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy at the age of four. While most children were outside playing in the warm sunshine, Alex watched from the living room window.
This disease attacks the muscles and on Saturday afternoon, February 14th, 2009 the Lord called Alex home. He was 17 years old. He was a wonderful young man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
“God bless you Alex, you will never be forgotten.”
Visitation with the family will be Monday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Tuesday until service time at 11 a.m.
