Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 26 at 10 a.m. from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Hank Johnson officiating. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. at Ben Davidson Cemetery in Maury County, Tenn.

Mr. Sims was the son of Cheryl Dean Sims Wilson of Westmoreland and the late Carolyn Ann Jernigan Sims. Besides his mother he is survived by sister, Kimberly Dawn Green of Westmoreland; uncle, James Gary (Sharon) Sims of Franklin, Ky.; nephews, Wade William Maynard, Cody Ray Maynard, Travis James Maynard of Hendersonville; cousins, Katrina Kay Brown, Susan Renee Key and Garon Jerome Sims and by his fiancée Angela Evon Skinner of Columbia, Tenn.
