The Macon County Baseball team was in action this past week. Tyler Kemp got the win against Trousdale County 4-2 and went 1 for 3 from the plate and scored a run on Thursday March 14th. The Tigers dropped a game to Livingston 4 to 7 and Dalton Shrum received the loss while Austin Taft went 1 for 3 with one walk and 2 RBIs. In the return game Macon defeated Livingston with a walk-off home run by Larken Whittemore in the bottom of the 8th inning for a 4-3 win. Brother Ian Whittemore pitched 5 1/3 innings, striking out ten and not giving up any runs, en route to the victory.

This week the Tigers will play in the Wilson County Invitational in Lebanon on March 22nd-24th.
