Goodpasture defeats Red Boiling Springs by a score of 35-0. This defeat drops the Bulldogs record to 1-5 for the season.
The first quarter would start off with three nice runs by Michael Tirjan two by Dakota Dickens to move the chains. Goodpature scores on a 60 yard run for a 7-0 lead with 8:31 left in the first. The next Bulldogs possession would result in a punt blocked for a Cougar score. Goodpasture goes up 14-0. Following a RBS punt, the Cougars get a touchdown run of 75 yards to make the score 21-0 with 4:03 left in the first quarter. On a Bulldog drive that saw them convert two fourth down plays, RBS fumbles and Goodpasture returns the ball for a score. Lead is now 28-0 with 8:20 left in the first half.
The 3rd quarter would start off with a good drive. Runs by Dickens and Tirjan and a pass from Elijah Byfield to Mason Hewitt looked promising. However, RBS would fumble the ball on the 16 yard line with 4:18 left in the third. Following a defensive stand, the Bulldogs would again drive the ball deep into Cougar territory but would fumble the ball into the end-zone to hand the ball back to Goodpasture. The Cougars would tack on one more touchdown to make the final score 35-0 over the Bulldogs.
