Macon Co. Jr. High 2010 Soccer Banquet PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, November 2, 2010

By: Coach Barry King

The MCJHS Soccer team had there banquet Friday night. Hailey Jones received the Academic Award, Sara Satterfield and Savanah Heflin each received the Grid Iron Award, Most Improved went to Bailey Porter and Lora Darnell, Most Points went to Heaven Love, Defence MVP went to Brittney McClard, Offence MVP went to Taylor Cox, Team MVP went to Karry Day and Lyndsey Belton.

We had a good season being a very young team with only three eightth graders starting and one of them getting hurt and missing some games.

We ended up with a record of 7-4-2. That put us in 3rd in our conference and we ended up 3rd in our tournament. I am VERY PROUD of the girls this year.

I want to thank the parents for all the help that they gave me and to the people that donated money to us in our roadblock, for without that money, it would be very hard to have a Macon County Junior High Girls Soccer team.

Also thanks to the people that helps make this go so good for these girls. I am looking forward to next year already.

If you would like to play indoor soccer this winter or travel soccer, give me a call at 666-5740.

As always, come and support our team.
