New Life Easter Egg Hunt

The New Life Baptist Church had an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday March 16th at the Thomas House in Red Boiling Springs.  Over 80 children participated in the event.  They had two hunts going simultaneously (birth to 5 and 6-10) with over 3000 eggs.  There were gold eggs that contained money from a $.25 to $10.  There was also a drawing for prizes (8 easter baskets and 8 bunnies).

Lafayette Rotary Club Holds Chrismas Dinner

The Lafayette Rotary Club celebrated the holiday season with a Christmas dinner at Gibson’s Café on Thursday night, December 13.  Miles and Ginger Gibson served prime rib and marinated chicken to twenty-five guests. The Rotary members also enjoyed the entertainment provided by Miles.
