We never know where the road of life will lead us, but for Patty Meagher, a 1981 graduate of Macon County High School, it brought her to Charlotte Day’s home in Sycamore Valley, when the hometown girl returned home to Macon County for the first time in thirty years. |

Trousdale Cares held their Annual Turkey Hunt for Wounded Warriors over the weekend, and on Saturday morning I was honored to spend a little time with the soldiers who so bravely served our country and earned the respect and admiration of everyone.

Harmon has first Wild Turkey harvest |

Lauryn Harmon, 10, killed her first turkey April 15, 2012. It weighed 20 lbs. Had a 4 ½ inch beard and 7/16 in spurs. The turkey was killed in Macon County. Parents are Jerry & Amanda Harmon.
