Funeral services for Jimmy York, age 50, of Highland Road, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. were conducted Friday afternoon, May 2, 2008, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with Brother Tim White officiating. Interment followed in the Whitley Cemetery. His family and friends served as pallbearers.
Jimmy passed away suddenly Tuesday evening, April 29, 2008 at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn.
He was born February 1, 1958 in Wilson County, Tenn., the son of Charles and Delma Greer York of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his brother Carl York. He was a Logger and a Skidder Operator.
Survivors besides his parents include: brothers, Wayne York, Pastor Clovis York and his wife, Sherry all of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., devoted companion, Melissa Bush, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., step-daughters, Chastity Evans and Erin Wheeler, Lafayette, Tenn., step-sons, Chad Crist and Lucas Wheeler, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.
