Johnnie Louise Sullivan, 83

Johnnie Louise Sullivan, age 83, of the Siloam Community in Macon County, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the Macon County General Hospital.

Louise SullivanFuneral services for Louise Sullivan were conducted on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Jackie Stagner and Brother Phillip Sullivan officiating.  Kevin Lankford, Bobby Joe Sullivan, David Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan, James Edward Sullivan, and Jackie Farley served as pallbearers.  Interment followed in the Eulia Cemetery.

Louise Sullivan was born on Saturday, October 18, 1924 in Macon County, Tenn., to the late John Wix and Minnie Adcock. She was married to Richard Sullivan sixty-four years ago in June of 1943, who survives.

Besides her parents, three brothers, O.C., Melvin, and Will T. Farley, a sister, Annie Knight, and step-father, Tom Farley, preceded her in death.

Louise had been an employee for Hartsville Garment Company for thirty years before retiring; she adored the time she shared with her grandson, loved needlework projects, and eating out.  She was a member of the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by; daughter, Rebecca (Samuel) Watson of Westmoreland, Tenn., grandson, Richard Lee Watson of Murfreesboro, Tenn., sisters, Lois D. Sullivan of Westmoreland, Tenn., and Carol Jean Oliver of Hartsville, Tenn.
