Funeral services for Leticia Birdwell Evans, age 42 of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. were conducted Thursday afternoon, May 22, 2008, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. with Chaplain Justin Rice officiating.

Leticia EvansInterment followed in the Whitley Cemetery. Her pallbearers were Nathan Birdwell, Justin Birdwell, Jeremy Evans, Jeffery Evans, Cory Evans and Curtis Evans.

Leticia passed away Monday morning, May 19, 2008 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born March 16, 1966 in Monroe County, Ky., the daughter of Judy Browning Etheridge of Lafayette, Tenn. and the late Carlos Edward Birdwell. On January 23, 2004, she married Steve Evans, who survives. She attended the Lafayette Church of God and was employed with the former Osh Kosh in Hermitage Springs for 8 years.

Survivors besides her husband and mother include: daughters, Tanai Clements and Keia Smith, son, Konner Smith, all of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., step-son, Damien Evans, Villa Grove, Ill., brother & sister-in-law, Dickie Layne & Cathy Birdwell, brother, Paul Birdwell all of Hermitage Springs Community.
