W.L. Meador, 78

Rev. W.L. Meador, age 78 of Westmoreland, Tenn. passed away on Monday, May 12, 2008. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. from the Eulia General Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Keen and Rev. Larry Sloan. Interment followed in the Eulia Cemetery.

Mr. Meador was retired from General Electric.  He was a member of Trammel Lodge #436.  He was a member of Eulia General Baptist Church and a General Baptist Minister for over 52 years.

He was the son of the late James Delbert Meador and the late Erma Selma Akins Meador. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by brother, Randell Meador and sisters, Earlene and Irene Meador.

He is survived by wife, Betty Jean Gregory Meador of Westmoreland; son, Ronnie & (Janice) Meador of Springfield; daughters, Sharon & (Jerry) Bonds of Scottsville, Ky.; Glenda & (Tim) Sloan of Westmoreland; brother, Michael Meador of Westmoreland; sister, Hollis Cothron of Lafayette; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
