Jr. Tigers 0-2 After Visit to Westmoreland

Westmoreland routed visiting Macon County 26-0 in a middle school football game on Tuesday, Aug. 17 at the Eagle Stadium.

Westmoreland would polish off the night with one more touchdown, when Michael Evans returned an interception 30 yards into the end zone with 1:17 left in the fourth quarter.
In the contest, Macon County attempted nine passes, completing four, and Westmoreland attempted one successful pass. Macon recorded 33 offensive plays for 79 yards, and Westmoreland marked 28 for a total of 210. No fumbles were recorded on either team.
