MCHS Golf Team Out Puts White House on the Green

MCHS golf team was scheduled to hold a match on August 17, 2010 at the course in Macon County but due to rain the match was canceled. On August 19, 2010 they traveled to Springfield, TN to The Legacy Golf Course for a match against White House High School. Playing the back nine, the MCHS boys won with a total score of 164 to White House’s 184.  

MCHS’ individual scores: Ian Whittemore 39, Austin Williams 39, Zach Polston 42, Collin Linville 44, Ryan Thompson 44, Trey Reid 46, Zach Swaffer 47 and Trenton Duffer 50.

The MCHS girls won their match with a score of 94 against White House High School scoring 121.  

MCHS girl’s individual scores were Kaleigh Chitwood 45, Savannah Knight 49, Kaitlin Cartwright 49, Lauren Gammons 54, Leah Johnson 55, Delanie Johnson 58, and Macy Kemp 65.

Next week, Monday and Tuesday are home matches and Wednesday, Macon County will travel to Clarksville, TN. Thursday, August 26th MCHS will compete at Mt. Juliet.
