Back Yard Cross Country Invite at the late Markie Voyles Family Farm

 

 

The Macon County High School Cross Country team was invited to participate in the Back Yard Cross Country Invite at the Voyles Farm in Sparta, Tennessee on October 09, 2010. The event was hosted by White Co. High School.   

The Macon County Girls placed second in the race, which was won by Cumberland Co. High School with a total score of 29. Macon Co. High School earned second place with a total team score of 56, followed by White Co. High School with a score of 69, Cookeville High School with a score of 77. Heritage High School also participated in the event.

In the Girls 5k Run…  
Katie Swindle ran her best personal race for second place with a time of 20:41.48, earning a total of two points for the team score. Mackenzie Painter placed ninth with a time of 22:43.59, earning nine points to the team score. Terra Pryor placed 13 with a time of 24:08.65, earning a total of 13 points. Jasmine Chaparro placed 14 with a time of 24:21.00, earning a total of 14 points. Meerim Talipova placed 18 with a time of 25:17.40, earning a total of 18 points. Katie Hix placed 19 place with a time of 26:16.05, earning a total of 19 points. Casanda Willson placed 28 place with a time of 30:26.26, earning a total of 26 points.  

In the Boys Division…
Cookeville High School placed first with a team score of 18, followed by Cumberland Co. High School with a score of 56, Macon Co. High School with a score of 79,  White Co. High School with a score of 83, followed by Heritage  High School, Phoenix School, and Livingston Academy.      

In the Boys 5K Run Individual Results… Mason Doss placed 13 with a time of 18:54.76, earning a total of 11 points. Seth Smith placed 16 with a time of 19:30.93, earning a total of 14 points. Taylor Boxold placed 18 with a time of 20:15.35, earning a total of 15 points. Corey Eden placed 19 with a time of 20:25.30, earning a total of 16 points. Jordon Kemp placed 17 with a time of 23:33.58, earning a total of 23 points.
