MCHS Golf Rolls On

  On 8/29/2011 the MCHS golf team traveled to Greenbrier, TN to take on
the Greenbrier High School golf team at Oak Hills.

  MCHS boys took the district match by
5 strokes: MCHS 301 Greenbrier 306. Greenbrier does not have a girl’s team.

MCHS individual scores were Austin Williams 72 (even par), Larken
Whittemore 74, Zach Polston 76, Ian Whittemore 79, Collin Linville 83, Trey
Reid 83 and Ryan Thompson 87.

   Girls scores were Kaitlin Cartwright 70 (2 under par),
Lauren Gammons 80 and Kaleigh Chitwood 90.

 
On 9/1/11 the MCHS golf teams traveled to Dickson, TN to take on
Creekwood High School, Dickson County High School, and Fairview High School.
Match held at Montgomery Bell State Park in Dickson, TN.

 

 
The MCHS boys won with a total score of 156 to Dickson County 157,
Creekwood 165 and Fairview 204. MCHS individual boys were Collin Linville 35 (1
under par), Zach Polston 39, Austin Williams 41, Trey Reid 41, Ian Whittemore
42 and Larken Whittemore 43.

 

  MCHS girls won with a score of 78 to Dickson County 101,
Fairview 119. Girl’s individuals were Kaitlin Cartwright 38, Kaleigh Chitwood
40 and Lauren Gammons 42.
