Tigers Compete at Sharp Springs

 

Macon
County High School Cross Country ran at the Sharp Springs Invitational, held at
Sharp Springs Park in Smyrna Tennessee, Saturday, September 24.


  Macon County Sophomore, Katie
Swindle, finished in overall first place, winning the Girl’s Gold division.
Swindle set a personal best record with a time of 20:18.37. Senior, Andrew
Emberton won the Boy’s Silver division, also with a personal record time of
19:08.5.

 


Other girls times were as follows: Katie Hix (22:00.80), Logan Hernandez
(22:49.68), Jasmine Chaparro (23:58.73), Daisy McClanahan (25:54.40), Taylor
Stafford (27:46.78), Jena Dziekiewicz (29:10.51), and Sandy Wilson (26:46.10).
Hernandez and Wilson’s times were personal bests. 

 
Other Boys times were: Ryan Avera (19:55.50), Juan Augustin (19:56.47),
Jorden Kemp (19:59.66), Dylan Meador (20:41.07), Jeff Maynard (21:10.73), and
Dylan Sexton (21:52.04). All six of these times were personal bests for the
season.
