RBSHS faces Gordonsville

The Red Boiling
Springs High School Bulldogs Football Team hosted the Tigers of Gordonsville
this past Friday night, September 90, 2011, and was handed a 51-6 loss.
Gordonsville dominated the first quarter with three
touchdowns and three extra point kicks to hold a 21-0 advantage going into the
second period.
The Tigers then sacked the quarterback in the end zone for a
safety, followed by three more touchdowns.
The Bulldogs did not give up and a pass from QB Cody Dickens
to Matt French finally found Red Boiling Spring on the scoreboard with a 34
yard touchdown. This was the only mark the Bulldogs would see during this
battle, however they were able to keep the Tigers from scoring in the entire
second half of the game. \The RBS Bulldogs stands at 2-4, 1-3 for the 2011
season. Gordonsville improved to 4-2, 4-1 in Region 4-A.

Mullines 1/1 for 5 yrd; Bryan McDonald 1/1 for 4 yds. Totaling 9-13 for 92
yards.
In rushing for RBS: Landon Hassard 12/7; A.J. Dale 5/12;
Dakota Dickens 4/0; Cody Dickens 3/12; Danny Meador 3/6; Nick Deckard ¾; Ethan
Carnahan 1/-15. Totaling 31 carries for 26 yards.
In receiving for RBS: Matt French 3/47; Brince Crouch 2/15;
A.J. Dale 1/12; Dakota Dickens 1/8; Kason Wix 1/1. Totaling 8 receptions for 83
yards.
The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs will travel to Monterey on
October 7. Kick off is set up for 7 p.m. RBS plans to host Jackson County on
October 14. October 21, the Bulldogs will travel to Friendship Christian, and
will host their last game of the season on October 28 against the Trousdale
County Yellow Jackets.
