RBSHS Ends Season in Hartsville

By Misty Green

  The Red Boiling
Springs High School football team traveled to Trousdale County last Friday
night, October 28, 2011 to play their final game of the regular season.

The TC Yellow Jackets came out strong with 28
points in the first quarter, followed by seven in the second, to hold a 35-0
advantage over the Bulldogs in the first half of play.

There were no scores in the third period,
however touchdowns resumed in the final quarter, beginning with an 8-yd run by
TC’s Calhoun. Shortly after, RBS’ Matt French would run in a 16-yd pass from
quarterback Cody Dickens. The PAT by Dakota Dickens was good, thus putting
seven points on the Bulldogs side of the score board.

Trousdale County would add one last run before
the game’s end. Final score… RBS 7, TC 48.
The Bulldogs will travel to Baxter this coming Thursday to play in a bowl game.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
