Tigettes Win Two More

The Macon County Tigerettes notched two more wins this week over Gordonsville and Gallatin. Both games were on the road.
On November 29th MCHS traveled to Gordonsville. The Tigerettes jumped out to a quick 16 points but allowed 14 from Gordonsville at the end of one. Macon tightened up the pressure and converted on only 8 of 17 shots and pushed out to a comfortable lead of 33-19 at the half.
The Tigerettes would put their foot on the gas in the second half. They led 52-31 after three and won by a score of 62-48. Scoring for the Tigerettes was: Kailyn Brooks 10, Terra Pryor 12, Katie Reid 15, Katelyn Bean 6, Calamity Coley 15, and Briley Driver 4. Reece Shrum, Michaela Thompson, Macy Kemp, Alyssa Tuck, Jade Ellis, and Leah Anderson all played but did not score.
On Friday December 2nd the Tigerettes traveled to Gallatin. MCHS led from the opening tip but the Green Wave kept it close as Macon led 18-15 after one. But then the Tigerettes got rolling and pushed the lead out to 16 and led at the half 36-20. Coach Beam was able to empty the bench and get everybody in the game late in the third and MCHS cruised to the win by a score of 71-31.
Scoring for MCHS was: Kailyb Brooks 7, Terra Pryor 23, Katie Reid 10, Katelyn Bean 5, Calamity Coley 13, Briley Driver 3, Reece Shrum 5, Macy Kemp 1, Jade Ellis 3, and Leah Anderson 1. Whitney Wilburn, Michaela Thompson, and Alyssa Tuck all played but did not score.
