The Relay For Life Committee is looking forward to seeing everyone at the Survivor’s Supper, which is set for Tuesday, May 22, at 6:00 p.m. at the Sally Wells Building, located on the Macon County Fairgrounds.

This is always an inspirational event and a chance to celebrate early, the victories that have been achieved over this disease.

“The Survivor’s supper is a great place to have a good meal, see old and new friends, and win some prizes,” said Relay Co-Chairman Lisa Yokley. “The Relay Committee and physicians come together to sponsor this, leading up to the big event at Key Park on Friday night, June 1st at 6:00 p.m.”
This year one of our co-hosts, Terri Merryman, will attend the Survivor’s supper, as we all celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, and beat this sinister enemy.

“Survivor’s will receive their special purple Relay For Life shirt that evening, and the supper is for one survivor and one guest,” said Yokley. “We would also like to encourage our county residents to show your spirit by buying a purple bow at your local flower shops to display at your home of business.”
RSVP to Brownie Barton 666-4677, or Lisa Yokley 666-3744 also 888-7421. Please let them know your shirt size, so we can hopefully have your size on hand.

This year’s Relay For Life committee chairmen are Amy Kemp, Lisa Yokley, Debbie Gregory, Brownie Barton, Angie Doss, Wendy Jared, Loren Roberts, Lori Jones, Connie Blackwell and Diane Cook.
