Macon County Tiger Trap Team Wins AIM State Championships
Over two hundred and fifty athletes from across the state traveled to Nashville for the two day competition with the Tigers winning state championship titles in Classes B, C and D.
Tiger’s squad three won the D class title with an overall score of 852. The squad was led by Dalton Driver (185), Dylan Brawner (179), David Richardson (176), Brock Rutan (171), Eli Doss (165) and Jackson Sircy (141).
Squad two brought home the C class state title with an overall score of 893. Maggie Sircy and Ryan Minchey led the squad both with 184 targets followed by Jon Tucker (179), Kelsey Bullington (174) and Kelsey Cook (172).
Squad one completed the sweep winning the class B state title with a 921. Matthew Minchey with a 197 led the squad with Austin Mathews (191), Tyler Knight (184), Alexis Bartley (179) and Colton Kirby (170).
The competition keeps rolling as the team will travel back to Nashville June 23rd and 24th to compete in the TN Scholastic Clay Target Program State Championships
