RBS TAKES ON LCA IN TOBACCO BOWL JAMBOREE

8-14rbsfb

The Red Boiling Spring Bulldogs took on the Knights of Lancaster Christian Academy on August 11th in the annual Tobacco Bowl Jamboree in Hartsville.

After a hard fought two quarters of play the Bulldogs were defeated 26-13 by the Knights. The Bulldogs came out “pumped” and ready to play but was not able to pull it off.

I caught up with Coach Shoulders after the game and asked him what his thoughts where on the game and the upcoming season. He answered with no hesitation “I feel good and very confident about the season like I have in all the times past. And like I’ve always said Red Boiling may not always have the quantity but we have the quality.” I also asked him how the guys felt about the season. He answered with “Their excited and feel good. These guys are the group I started coaching when they were Freshmen and now their Seniors. They come to practice every day and always are motivated and are always giving 110% everyday no matter what.”

The Bulldogs will travel to Pickett County on August 17th to take on the Bobcats in Week 0.
