On Friday October 12th the Bulldogs of Red Boiling Springs traveled down the road to their nearby opponent, the Blue Devils of Jackson County High School.

After a tough game by both teams, and also a game full of trickery, the Bulldogs came up short. There was total of about ten trick plays thru out the game to make sure both teams stayed “honest” including an onside kick on the opening kickoff by the Bulldogs, in which they recovered and turned into a score! But, unfortunately at the end of the day the Blue Devils managed to edge off the Bulldogs by a final score of 31-20

The scoring summary for the game goes as follows. With 8:48 left in the first, after an onside kick recovery,  Bulldog Ty Tuck took it in from 1yd out for the score, extra point no good making the score 6-0. Bulldog Ty Tuck was injured in the game Friday night. He was life-flighted to Hendersonville Hospital with what was thought to be a neck injury. Somewhere in the flight EMT personnel reported that Ty had feeling in his extremities and could move them. He was held for observation overnight and released sometime Saturday. At press time rumor had it he was roaming Wal-Mart in a wheelchair, feeling a little groggy but OK.
