Jackets Sting the Bulldogs

10-30rbsfb

On October 26th the Bulldogs concluded their season as they traveled down to the “Creek Bank” to take on the Yellow Jackets of Trousdale County.

Even though it was a very cold and rainy night, the Bulldog fans still managed to fill the stands.

A very intense game was played as both teams started off going full throttle but unfortunately the Bulldogs fell to the Yellow Jackets by a final score of 48-12. The Jackets were able to complete a series of touchdowns thru out the night, but for the Bulldogs they were only able to put up two scores coming from Bulldog Dakota Dickens.

I spoke with Coach Shoulders and asked him about the season and he answered, “At the start of the season we set high standards and I feel like that we reached them. Also we got the “2 win monkey” off of our back this season. I feel like that we had much success this season.” He then also talked about the senior class he has had this season, he said, “This has been a very special senior class to me. They were here when I started coaching here. They have been a big part in turning this team around thru out the 4 years. The upcoming season and players will be reflective from this years seniors.”

With this loss it made the Bulldogs final record on the season 3-7. Join us next season for some more Bulldog football as the Dogs will start preparing for the upcoming season in just a few short weeks.
