Ben Bray Real Estate to Hold St. Jude’s Auction on Jan. 12
Since its inception, St. Jude’s has developed protocols that have helped push the overall survival rates for childhood cancers from less than 20 percent when they first opened in 1962 to 80 percent today, and with your generous support the hospital is able to continue their life-saving research and treatment. By making donations you will be helping the hospital’s mission of finding cures and saving children’s lives.
“We are seeking donations for this benefit that will be conducted here in Lafayette for St. Jude’s, which is ran strictly on donations made by people and organizations just like yourself,” Bray said last week, “and all the money raised from our event will go directly to the hospital and their daily operations.”
“St. Jude’s is a pediatric cancer research center located in Memphis, Tennessee, and they
serve over 5,000 patients each year regardless of their ability to pay, with several children from Macon County being treated there in previous years. I have been blessed with three healthy children myself and I am proud to partner with this center and to coordinate a benefit auction for their battle against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases.”
