Man Arrested for Burglaries in Eight Counties, 14 Solved in Macon

According to Macon County Sheriff’s Department Detective Darrell Taylor, Beasley’s arrest has already solved 14 cases of burglary, aggravated burglary and theft of property in Macon County alone.

Among the numerous items Beasley has accumulated from his thefts in Macon County are guns, prescription drugs, lawn mowers, power tools, scrap iron, televisions, CB radios, gaming consoles and jewelry.

While many of the items have been returned to owners, detectives have compiled photos of stolen jewelry and need your help in identifying the owners.

Photos of the stolen jewelry in question can be found in this week’s issue of the Macon County Chronicle on Page B-12.

“We would like to thank all of the state and county agencies involved for their hard work in helping to solve these cases,” said Detective Taylor.

Beasley is currently being held at the Sumner County Jail on $140,000 bond. Charges are pending in the other counties involved, and the investigation is classified as ‘ongoing’.
