On April 1st, the Macon County High School boys took on McClain Christian Academy at home bringing home a big win at 9-0.
On April 8th, the boys had another rematch against McClain Christian winning 10-0.
On April 10th, the boys played a district match against Greenbrier, losing 4-6 and on April 12th, the boys played another district match away against Merrol Hyde Magnet School, losing 4-5.
On April 15th, the boys had a rematch against Livingston Academy, losing 3-4.
On April 16th, the boys traveled to Monroe County and brought home a big win, 9-0. The boys will finish up their regular season against East Robertson on April 17th their boys’ overall record for the season so far is 7-6.
The Macon County Junior High boys and girls tennis teams took on McClain Christian at home on April 1st. The boys won 5-3, and the girls won 7-2.
On April 8th, they had a rematch with McClain Christian, the boys winning 5-2, and the girls won 13-0.
On April 9th, the junior high tennis teams had a home match against Harris Middle from Shelbyville. The boys lost 1-9, and the girls lost 4-5. On April 10th, the boys and girls played a mixed doubles match against Algood Middle, winning 7-5.
MCJHS tennis resumes play on April 18th against Avery Trace. Their overall record up to this point is boys 5-2 and girls 5-2.
