This past week the MCHS Tigerette Softball team faced four different district 9AA opponents. The contests didn’t all turn out in Macon’s favor.

The Tigerettes jumped out early to a 4 run lead in the first inning but would fall behind 4-5 after five. They score 3 more in the fifth and 3 in the sixth and hold on to defeat the Lady Blue Devils by a final score of 10-9.

This game was tied after 4 ½ innings but Goodpasture scored two in the bottom of the 5th and seven in the bottom of the 6th to put the game out of reach. Final score MCHS 2 Goodpasture 10.

Becca Ballou went 3 for 3 and scored one run. Clara Howser scored the only other run.

On Wednesday the 17th, the Tigerettes would travel to face the Lady War Eagles of Sycamore. Sycamore jumped out early and led 3-0 after two innings. Macon would try to rally late but would lose the contest by a final score of 5-6. The Tigerettes made two errors which accounted for 3 War Eagle runs.
