Season Ends for MCHS Boys Tennis

The Macon County High School Boys tennis team ended their season this week at the district tournament in Clarksville.

Dalton McCathran and John Christian lost their first round doubles match 2-6 and 2-6. Noah Fryman won his first round match 2-6, 6-1, and 6-2 advancing to the second round of districts. He lost his second round 3-6, 2-6. Justin Frasier and Jacob Harbin lost their first round of doubles with a score of 3-6, 6-2, 4-6. John Griffith got a bye in the first round of the tournament. He won his second round with a score of 6-0, 6-2 advancing to the quarter finals. He lost that round with a score of 0-6, 3-6.

Overall records for the boys:
John Griffith 10-5, Justin Frasier 9-4, Dalton McCathran 5-5, Noah Fryman 9-7, Jacob Harbin 8-4, John Christian 10-2, Steven Dell’Aquila 7-4

The boys finished their season with an overall record of 7-7, improving from a 2-12 record last year. All members of the team will be returning next year.
