My View from the Press Box – MCJH vs. Gordonsville
The MCJH Tigers are 4-0 after a 30-6 win over Gordonsville Middle School last Tuesday in Gordonsville.
On the second play on the 2nd qtr, Seth Carlisle intercepted a pass and returned it 34 yards for the TD. Carlisle connected with Dillehay for the 2pt conversion, Tigers led 8-0. Brian Swindle scored on a 29yd TD run on the 1st play of the next offensive possession. Carnahan added the conversion, Tigers led 16-0. Late in the 3rd qtr, Carlisle ran it in from 8 yards out to make the score 22-0. Swindle scored again midway through the 4th with a 32yd TD run and Alcorta added the conversion to give the Tigers a 30-0 lead. Hall Scored for Gordonsville late in the game on a 50 yard reverse the PAT failed and the Tigers won 30-6.

The Tigers will Travel to the creekbank this Tuesday night to take on the 4-0 Yellow Jackets. Come out and support the Tigers and “I’ll see you at the game.”
