My View from the Press Box – MCHS vs Livingston Academy

The Tigers fall to 1-3 on the season and 1-1 in district play after a 14-7 home loss to the Wildcats of Livingston Academy Friday night.
On the 1st play of the 2nd qtr. KJ Kitchens scored on a 1 yard TD run ending an 80 yard 9 play drive. Mason Doss added the PAT. The Tigers led 7-0. With 8:03 left Livingston scored on a 26 yard TD pass but they missed the PAT, the Tigers led 7-6. With 1:38 left in the game, LA’s Qualls goes 36 yards around the left side for the TD. Watson added the 2pt conversion to make the score 14-7. Two plays later Logan Grace was picked off by Blodgett to seal the win for the Wildcats.

Tanner Lowhorn and Dalton driver led the Defense with 6 tackles each. Kitchens 5; Graves, Stephen Reagan, Harris, Shawn Reagan, and Swindle had 4 tackles each; Carlisle, Raney, and Hafeli 2 each; Partin 1.
The Tigers will host the Greenbrier Bobcats this Friday night at Pat Parker field. Come out and Support the Tigers and “I’ll see you at the Game.”
