Tyler Hinson: 2nd Degree Murder Charge

Detective Donnie Crawford, of the Macon County Sheriffs Office, said that several months ago, the Macon County EMS was called to an abandoned house on Liberty Road where Ms. Summers was found. “She was transported to Macon County General Hospital where she later passed away”, Crawford stated. “Her body was sent for an autopsy.”

During this months session of Criminal Court, the Grand Jury handed down a sealed indictment stating that on a date in May of 2013, Tyler Neal Hinson, of Red Boiling Springs, did unlawfully kill Deneshia Summers by the unlawful distribution of a Schedule II, drug, to wit” Methadone, and the drug was a proximate cause of the death of Deneshia Summers.

His bond was set at $100,000 and a Criminal Court date has been scheduled for February 14, 2014.

At this time, Hinson is already in prison stemming from a violation of probation charge.
