Macon County Trap Team Starts Season with Win
The Macon County Trap team kicked off the 2014 season taking first place in the Junior Class C division at the AIM competition at the Big Springs Shooting Complex in Christiana, TN.
Tyler Knight lead squad one to the victory posting an overall score off 99/100 with Brock Rutan 96/100, Dalton Driver 95/100, David Richardson 94/100 and Jackson Sircy 87/100.
Squad 2 finished 5th with Eli Doss leading the squad with a 95/100, Ryan Minchey 93/100, Kelsey Cook 93/100, Jon Tucker 87/100 and Kelsey Bullington 84/100.
Team 3 finished 6th in Junior Class C with Grant Towns 92/100, Jordan Gentry 92/100, Hunter Dyer 92/100, Daniel Holland 88/100 and Mason Gunter posting 87/100. Squad 4 finished 2nd in the sub Junior Class D division with the first year shooters performing well in their first competition. The squad was led by Dylan Butler posting 82/100, Hunter Dickens 81/100, Danny Murray 77/100, Mason Trent 76/100 and Hailey Brewer 72/100. First year shooter Hunter Bolton shooting in the individual category put together a good first outing.
Individual honors go to Tyler Knight finishing in a multi shooter tie for first place with his 99/100 performance and also Brock Rutan taking 2nd place in Junior Class D with his 96/100. Congratulations also go to Tyler scoring his first 50 straight and also Grant Towns earning his first 25 straight patch.
