Bulldogs Fall to Tigers

altThe Watertown Tigers beat the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs in a blowout 46-6.

The first quarter started off with Watertown scoring first on a 75 yard run to make the score at 7-0 with 9:54 left in the 1st. Following a Bulldog turnover Watertown would score on a 5 yard touchdown to put the score at 14-0 with 9:19 to go in the opening period. Red Boiling would then throw an interception on their next possession.  The Tigers then scored on a 45 yard run which made the score at 20-0 with 1:22 in the 1st. Folowing an exchange of turnovers, The Tigers would end the half on a 37 yard touchdown pass to lead at halftime 26-0.

Watertown opened the 3rd with another score. With (;49 in the 3rd, Tigers led 32-0. Following another Dog turnover, the Tigers would score again to put the score at 39-0 with 6:46 left to go.  Watertown would tack on a 70 yard return for a touchdown  to make it 46-0 to end the 3rd quarter. Red Boiling Springs finally scored on 5 yard touchdown run by Justin Bergdorff to make the final score at 46-6.

Next week the Bulldogs play Clay County for homecoming.  Everybody come out and support your Bulldogs.
